1. About These Terms

This website is operated by Margot Design Pty Ltd.

By placing an order through this website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions together with our Shipping and Returns policies.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.
 

2. Orders

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your order.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:

a product is unavailable;

there has been a genuine pricing or product-description error;

payment has not been received; or

we reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity.

If an ordered product becomes unavailable after your order has been placed, we will contact you as soon as practicable.

Where appropriate, we may offer an alternative product, place the item on back-order with your agreement, or provide a refund.
 

3. Prices

All prices are shown in Australian dollars.

Prices displayed to Australian consumers include applicable GST where required.

Delivery charges are calculated separately and displayed before you complete your purchase.

International customers may also be responsible for duties, taxes or customs charges imposed by their destination country.

Prices may change from time to time. Any change will apply to future orders and will not retrospectively alter the agreed price of an order already accepted, except where required to correct a genuine error and agreed with the customer.
 

4. Product Information and Colour

We make every reasonable effort to describe and photograph our products accurately.

Colours may appear differently depending on your screen, device settings and lighting conditions.

Natural fibres and printed textiles may also show small variations between production runs.

These characteristics should not be taken to exclude any rights you may have where a product materially differs from its description or otherwise fails to meet applicable consumer guarantees.
 

5. Care and Use

Care instructions are provided to help maintain the appearance and performance of Margot Design products.

Damage caused by misuse, inappropriate handling or failure to follow reasonable care instructions may not constitute a product defect.

This does not affect any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
 

6. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the designs, artwork, photography, text, graphics, branding and other original content appearing on this website are owned by or licensed to Margot Design and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Content may not be reproduced, modified, commercially exploited or distributed without prior written permission from Margot Design, except where permitted by law.

You are welcome to share Margot Design imagery on social media for personal and editorial purposes provided the image is not materially altered and Margot Design is clearly credited and, where appropriate, tagged.

Commercial use, reproduction or publication requires prior written permission.
 

7. Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that information on this website is accurate and current.

Occasional errors or omissions may occur, and website information may be updated from time to time.
 

8. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

To the extent permitted by law, Margot Design is not responsible for loss resulting from misuse of a product, failure to follow applicable care instructions or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws applicable in New South Wales, Australia.
