Estremoz scarf

Estremoz takes inspiration from the charming town near Arraiolos where we shopped at the weekly fresh market and explored the antique flea markets in search of hidden treasures. The town is home to the magnificent Bacalhôa Museum, renowned for its collection of Portuguese tiles.
 
The patterns and colours of these historic tiles became the starting point for this design. Drawing directly from their geometry, motifs, and intricate detail, Estremoz transforms these timeless designs into a contemporary textile, creating a bridge between Portuguese heritage and modern Margot Design style.
