Treasures

Treasures Collection is a scarf collection inspired by the captivating beauty of Far North Queensland, Australia. This collection takes you on a visual odyssey through the diverse landscapes of Kuku Yalanji country, from the ancient and dense Daintree rain forest to the arid expanses of the outback, and up to the breathtaking heights of the Atherton Tablelands.

Each scarf in this collection is a tangible piece of the natural wonders discovered, capturing the essence of leaves from the rain forest floor, flowers found in roadside caravan parks, delicate coral scattered along the expansive beaches, the colours of the sky at dawn and dust.

The artworks for the collection were created by me during lock-down in Sydney, which was a stark contrast to the freedom of being in an ancient part of our country.

Each scarf encapsulates the vastness of the outback, the stories it silently holds, and the hope in the beauty it contains.
