Introducing Epiphany - Celebrating the Sydney Opera House

A birthday, an Australian icon and a very special design collaboration.

What a privilege to celebrate the Sydney Opera House’s 54th birthday with the launch of Epiphany, an exclusive silk scarf created for the Sydney Opera House Shop following my 2025 Uncovered Award win.

As a Sydney-based artist and textile designer, the opportunity to create something for one of Australia’s most treasured landmarks has been truly special. I wanted to approach the design from a different perspective, looking beyond the Opera House’s instantly recognisable exterior to explore the sculptural concrete forms, arches and repeating lines within its extraordinary interiors.

These architectural details became the starting point for Epiphany, translated through my hand-led design process into a flowing pattern that shifts and transforms as the silk moves. The name celebrates architect Jørn Utzon’s remarkable moment of discovery — the spherical solution that helped unlock the geometry of the Opera House’s iconic roof.

Available in three colourways — Silhouette, Harbour and Sunset — the oversized 100% silk scarf brings together architecture, colour and pattern in a design made to be worn, treasured and enjoyed.

Designed in Sydney and made in Portugal, Epiphany represents everything I love about textile design: finding inspiration in the world around us and transforming it into something unexpected.

I am immensely proud to see this project come to life and so grateful to the wonderful Sydney Opera House team for their trust, generosity and collaboration.

Happy birthday to the House! Here’s to celebrating Australian creativity, extraordinary design and the places that inspire us.
